Have a great day, all you Irish and sort-of-Irish and not-so-Irish everybodys out there! I had to sing a spontaneous Irish song this morning and was corralling all the kiddies for the parade all afternoon. They were gorgeous! And most of my foreigners turned up (except the Pakistanis, aw) so everyone had two flags at least... They need more hands.

While I'm here, can I just make one thing very, VERY clear: The coloquial abbreviation of "St. Patrick's Day" is "Paddy's Day", which I hate, but what I hate more is the ridiculously stupid and ignorant "Patty's Day". Where the HELL did that come from? Patty was the orange girl in the 90s cartoon "Doug". It also makes me think of butter. It has nothing to do with Ireland, March 17th or St. Patrick's Day, so DO NOT USE IT. EVER.
